Opening of the 2013 UCD project

ここ一週間ほどはバタバタと新学期の準備に追われていました。４回目の学期となるのでだいぶ勝手が分かってきましたがこのお腹と暑さでなかなかテキパキとは進みません。

10:00~11:00 Property Tour (What we expect for all chores. How to use HVAC items.)

11:00~11:30 Decide the chore leaders & make sure the project team leaders

12:30~15:00 Drive to Blanding (visit Local vendors, hospital and food run)

15:00~17:00 Organize the material sheds (cook dinner)

2nd day

8:00~9:30 Safety Handbook, Blog, Teamgantt

10:00~12:00 Tool Lecture 1 at shop

13:00~15:00 Tool Lecture 2 at shop

15:00~17:00 Prepare the horse trailer for site, make sticks

今回は全員の学生に道具を使わせること、テストをすることを辞めて、代わりに今後、建設作業が始まってから随時現場で道具の使い方を確認する、という方法にしました。そのため説明の時間が長くなったものの、これまでは説明できなかった出番の少ない道具の存在、使い方を話すことが出来ました。全ての学生に何かしらの道具管理担当を設けたのも新たな試みなので今後これが機能するのかしっかり見ていきたいです。
